Watchers

Apparently, we reached our limit on what our Dental Insurance will pay, so we're left to cover $1400  $1200 (yay 200 less) worth of my wisdom tooth surgery. Add this to the fact that my husband was forced to swerve to miss someone who doesn't know how to drive their truk- thereby hitting construction barrel and breaking the mirror on the drivers side, and my husbands work not having overtime in forever. Oh, and my cat has skin allergies. Yay. Not my year, I guess.

So, needless to say, we could use some extra cash. I'm offering up map commissions in the style presented at the bottom of this journal. They will be provided in 300dpi quality unless otherwise specified. If the terms below don't appeal to you, or you have a map idea that isn't presented here, please feel free to contact me and negotiate something else.

Information needed for map creation
1. Climate zone(s) (these can be drawn with lines on sketch and labeled if you wish)

2a. A basic sketch of your continent/region/island. Can be scanned, done in paint, or any other program. The sketch must contain a very basic outline of the land/region shape, lakes, rivers, mountains, forests and hills. These can be blob-like shapes with "forest" or what-have-you written in them. The sketch will serve as a sort of guide for me to use. and don't worry about "realistic coastline", I can create that for you.

2b. I can also do a random map, where I come up with it's basic shape based on your preferences. Will provide screenshot for approval. I prefer to work with a sketch, but I am flexible.

3. Any other notes you deem important. For example, if you'd prefer a regional map of some sort, such as a kingdom, do you want the outlying land to be visible but desaturated? Black and white?

Examples
The below style is the one I am most comfortable and efficient with. Don't be discouraged by my copious use of grassland- I'm fully capable of pretty much any terrain type.
Continent and Regional maps are my specialty, but for the right price I'll willing to try world maps. Make me an offer. EDIT: By default, my maps are 50 miles per hex. You map does not HAVE to have a scale or grid, but it can be helpful information none-the-less. I'll use my standard scale if not specified.

You can use a map commissioned from me for unlimited personal use, though I ask that if you re-post it to another website you keep my watermark intact. You will still receive an un-watermarked version as well.

(Prices are for non-commercial use. Contact me to negotiate commercial pricing)
Continent Map - $20
Island Map - $13
Regional Map - $13

Costs Extra (Only a few dollars more, case-by-case)
Drastically different textures from what my examples show- this goes for the ground, forests and water.
-Why? I have the technique pretty much down with the look in my examples, so creating a new look will take more time.

Excess labels. I will label the region/continent itself, and any oceans for free. If you want lakes/rivers, kingdoms, swamps/forests/deserts et cetera I will charge more. The exception to this rule is for region maps: I will label the capital city, any city-states, and major bodies of water for free.
-Why? Mostly because it's time consuming and tedious.

Adding cities/villages/et cetera.

Slots- Note me please
